I think solarpunk is rather about community housing and gardens, bikes, shared small lightweight vehicles and public transport ... would't you love that ?

@Gina IMO #solarpunk in that sense is more about an intentional community with an ethos of reuse, rather than conspicuous consumption and antisocial "can pay, won't pay" approach to social goods like the electricity grid.

It's quite possible to assemble second hand panels and an electric-assist bicycle to live more lightly,

@thibaultmol @Gina Yes to the Tesla thing but not sure it's AI; the small details seem a little too consistent, at least viewed at this resolution (e.g. the charger cable snaking to the car) - it may just have been image adjusted to that same awful over-contrasty style, which I've seen examples of people doing on purpose for reasons I can't begin to fathom...

- but yes, if it is, in fact, AI, then it's a bit too ironic for the topic to be funny.
