@MelissaBearTrix I remember ads. Like on TV in the 90s, or banners above the webring embed that would flash about getting a free ipod if you filled out a survey.

@MelissaBearTrix Remember when google said "nobody likes those flashing gif banner ads, choose us, we'll only ever do text ads" and they included a pale green background with the word "AD" for any ads in their search results? And then they went evil, got rid of their "Don't be evil" motto, and then went even more evil, and now they're one of the evilest organizations on the planet?
