@PapyrusBrigade looks like they haven't been rich *quite* long enough to figure out absentee parenting with a paid nanny but it sounds like they're heading in that direction
i only wonder if it would make the kids better or worse
@estelle @PapyrusBrigade <sarcasm>
But why waste money on a real human nanny, when you could just ask Claude to vibecode you an agentic nanny and sell that "-as-a-Service" ?
</sarcasm>(mandatory "poe's law" sarcasm tag, because it's very plausible there's a Techbro somewhere who's genuinely thinking this type of crap)

@SteveClough @PapyrusBrigade even more so, once you remember that "abducted children" is a popular theme in police procedural book and other genres (action, etc.) and thus very present in the training material of that bot.
@dryak @PapyrusBrigade I worked with a system for the education market, and was very aware that the basic details of children that were held there were prime targets for stealing and using for malicious purposes. I was always paranoid about these getting out.
And yet - this gives the information away for free. Insane.

@PapyrusBrigade what a novel idea Alex had
-
@PapyrusBrigade this is a great way to remind your children of where they are on your list of priorities, which for Sam, is probably:
1. Build rogue ai
2. Bring about social collapse with his tech bros
3. Profit from all of it
4. Be a disgusting subhuman
5. Profit some more
6. ???
7. Children? Naw, his ai nanny is... IDK, performing whirlygigs with their innards. -

@petealexharris @PapyrusBrigade
Don't look up info about his sister's childhood unless you're willing to learn some really miserable stuff.

@PapyrusBrigade They refused. Dad is scary.

@foolishowl @Cassandra Ha! I too have imagined such a film! Maybe I should write it? The idea of the true main characters being the actual ones in the background sounds like it could be fun if done correctly.
-
@PapyrusBrigade Tbh, it might be best if Sam never had any connection to his kids.
-
@PapyrusBrigade
Ratio'd to Infinity and Beyond -
@PapyrusBrigade Bold to assume any of his kids would still want to talk to an antisocial person like him..
-
@PapyrusBrigade at this rate i think he should delegate the wife f***ing to Claude.
@sheislaurence @PapyrusBrigade husband*

How can I use X to do Y.
X = Chatgpt
Y = Talk to my children. -
@nicolas17 @PapyrusBrigade thanks for correcting me. It' even more disturbing, the guy went out of his way to get a child by surrogacy and clearly can't be bothered raising them

@sheislaurence how's this for a disturbing fact?
According to journalist Keach Hagey, Altman met his future husband Oliver Mulherin "in Peter Thiel's hot tub at 3 a.m."

@PapyrusBrigade AI is rotting people's brains. JFC

@PapyrusBrigade "the drive to school"? what the hell

@PapyrusBrigade the ratio🫣

Talk to your kid(s) while walking them to school!
Much more to see and do than in a car.
@evdelen @PapyrusBrigade do we really want him to have more influence over them? I think limiting the access these impressionable children have with any rich person should be commended. The only shot these kids have is some aupair teaching them what empathy actually means and not just how to use it to manipulate others.
