»Rauff follows activists protesting the killing of animals and the industries that commodify their bodies. Yet the film’s focus quickly widens. The structures of power, operating under the banner of law and democratic order, are shown to defend precisely the systems the activists oppose. Despite the ethical clarity of the protest, society at large aligns itself with these structures.
