@bruce @Strandjunker I get what you mean but it's bullshit. You better believe money has been lost on this - entire corporations have gone tits up due to "our customers aren't going to notice/care that we're feeding them a shit sandwich".
Apple alone has had to backtrack like half a dozen times in the past decade or so because people weren't dumb enough to buy their excuses for disappointing products. That costs a lot of money, but nothing next to Meta's metaverse billions. Et cetera.
