@infobeautiful I am well aware, and watched most of it happen. Many of us tried to stop it as soon as it was obvious, which was probably in the 60s. Rachel Carson‘s “silent spring” was an early alert.

@infobeautiful And we see younger people are in an era of higher emissions, but clearly they are not directly responsible for that. It will be their parents and possibly grandparents who are mining bitcoin and investing in AI
