@campuscodi I live not too far from the location of those purported hot springs, and the quotes I read from the article I saw about it had the family howling with laughter. Just *so* badly confabulated content and pictures. It was a great teaching moment for the kids about the perils of the bullshit machine.

@campuscodi one of the pictures showed the confabulation process quite well. It was of a lake with bright blue water and some steam plumes behind. There *is* a water feature of that colour in the area (a mine runoff pit named little blue lake), and presumably the LLM made the geographic association and then just went the full bullshit.
