@internetarchive save something before it disappears means downloading it to local storage, not saving it to a list on IA. Can't tell you how many times something I saved to a list or my favorites has been taken down because some grubby company decided it no longer what it claims to own should be archived

@internetarchive Not well documented, but living in Sk during the T Guggenmos controversy, it was TG’s twitter tweats record on archive.org that couldn’t be denied and dismissed that did him in.

Someone (in SK?) had the foresight to add his twitter feed to archive.org. It made a record of everything that couldn’t be hidden.
