We've got a budget for paying for some concept art and can later talk about working with you on some merch. DM us!
Naturally, we cannot accept contributions using generative AI.

@netbsd I wish you good luck finding an artist to make your artworks, and I salute your no AI policy for it! 🧡
Here is a little watercolor sketch freely inspired by your logo.

@davidrevoy What's the scooter for? What's your power level?

@davidrevoy @citadel9 “Of course it runs NetBSD!”

My daughter did the backseat driving for Dad who did the Inkscaping, to create "Tommy the Toaster", a kawaii toaster (looks a bit similar to the Oster-brand one that NetBSD notoriously runs on).
I've got the SVG source if interested
For the folks unacquainted with the @netbsd toaster (it was notably more red than pink), it's quite the piece of NetBSD lore

Yeah, that makes sense—HHKB was doing the small-form-factor keyboards long before it was cool/popular with scads of alternatives available, so the timeframe fits too. Thanks for the bonus facts!

@davidrevoy What's the scooter for? What's your power level?
@citadel9 @davidrevoy it's obviously OVER 9000!
-
@netbsd Here's some of my art, including a mascot for a (long defunct) Linux distro I did over a decade ago!
