We are trying to establish how Danish a phenomenon this is.
You have a piece of bread with cheese. Now,
would you sometimes put fruit jam/marmelade/compote on top of cheese?

@BogWitch I had a visitor over from Germany and we were eating out. He got a piece of bread with cheese on it as well as jam. He was utterly shocked, but tried it anyway and was instantly hooked. The next few days he made so many weird toppings combos on his bread haha

@reynir @BogWitch we Danes are so strict when it comes to sandwich toppings, especially smørrebrød. A non-Danish friend once put jam on leverpostej, and I swear the reaction was akin to treason. And I'm like, hey sweet and savory, what's not to like?

@daniel @BogWitch I think he was pretty conservative sandwich topping wise until he got radicalized with the cheese and jam combo into a sandwich topping anarchist!
I think leverpostej and jam was one of his post-radicalization sandwiches haha
