World War II was the deadliest conflict in human history, resulting in an estimated 70 to 85 million total fatalities..

@benroyce @Netraven @stux It's the social contract. It only protects you if you sign on. That puts a burden on the casual observer to verify non-adherence, but the fash are pretty open about not granting rights outside of their own tribe, so they are very easy to punch.
They understand the assignment. Everything good goes to loyal fascists, and everything bad to those outside their boundary of membership.
We of cooperative civilization need to pull in our benefits, away from our attackers.
@benroyce @Netraven @stux Our disadvantage in this is that we have extensive procedures for adopting and assimilating outsiders, and for correcting and rehabilitating renegades. The fash have subverted these. They do not realize those procedures are there to protect people from arbitrary eviction from civilization.
They think being above the law is good. It is not. It places one outside the boundary. A non-adherent to the contract.

Only 80 years has passed and currently our political climate accepts parties that refuse to say they won't allow nazi's
Looking at you AfD, FvD, Republican Party and so on
If a party refuses to even bans Nazi's they should not have a place in the political spectrum
Don't argue or debate with Nazi's, ever
@stux as Jair Dominguez said "Fascism, Nazis, has to be treated with a punch in the mouth". Somehow, Vox, spanish version of the AfD, took the hint, and now he is being prosecuted by Spanish "justice", so I guess they really never left power

@stux We should be treating paramilitary Nazi groups* in May 2026 the same way we treated them after VE Day in May 1945. Same with the CSA Lost Causers rallying under Confederal Battle flags.
*literal self-described Nazis with all the trappings of the Hitler regime.
@Enema_Cowboy @stux Couldn't we treat them the way we did the day *before* VE Day?

no intolerance
unless we're dealing with the intolerant
no insensitivity
unless we're dealing with the insensitive
no violence
unless we're dealing with the violent
many people need to learn this
especially "polite society" types who clutch their pearls if someone says "fuck." but they will let a vile bigoted lie pass if said serenely
society is either protected, or it isn't
it falls upon all of us to do the protecting, not for us to defer to some other entity to do so

@stux and if you absolutely have to, eat their frame.

@stux There is no place nor tolerance in democratic discussion for movements whose aims are to end the democratic discussion.
