    What should you do about baby corvids that fall out of the nest before they can fly?

    (Spolier: generally nothing, but an interesting explanation as to why)

      @afewbugs I didn't know most of this, but none of it surprises me. The story about the magpies chasing a tom cat up a tree was kind of funny! I've seen magpies mobbing a sparrow once so I know how aggressive they can be!

        @afewbugs

        Offer food

        Become friend

        Give shinies and treats when they bring currency

          @afewbugs My favourite flowchart for what to do if you find a baby bird which has fallen out of it's nest is by Bird and Moon comics:

            @afewbugs

            When I see young birds on the ground, I always hope the mowers don't show up for a few days.

            We have had to scare a few out of the street onto ground a few days.
