I've started the morning by transcribing more of granny's diaries and then sent another email to the military in Boden, with actual photos and scans of the diary pages that mention their barracks by name.

I had a similar experience once in Norway. "Hej, I'd like to visit the museum" - "Sure, it's down that road, here's the keys, please make sure to lock up and throw the keys into that postbox when you've seen enough"

@JenJen Something I like about Sweden, honestly most of Europe, is that we have these lovely old churches just everywhere, they are absolutely beautiful and no one really cares cus they are just sort of littered all over the countryside.
