Spain’s supreme court killed the double-dipping by mortgage lenders known as “loan insurance”. the case disputed showed the mortgage holder paid +16% of their mortgage to an “insurance company” that was the bank itself.
Spain’s business practices mirror USA and this was done by Banco Popular (now Banco Santander) which was Puerto Rico’s main bank during my childhood.
how many billions did those fuckers steal from Puerto Ricans and USians as well?
