The flotilla said that Israel was trying to sink one of its boats, the Maria Cristina.

"The Israeli occupation navy is currently attempting to sink the Maria Cristina boat," Global Samud Flotilla said on its Facebook media page. "Israel is committing a full-fledged war crime."

Reuters was not able to confirm the account independently. Israel made no immediate statement about the claim.
