(The "weird curl" is the blob thing just outside the outline of the skull? I don't see a full mark corresponding to that shape on the plate. Did it happen because of uneven pressure or something else?)

@amenonsen I am not sure. Could be a bit of hair? Or a very shallow cut on the plate. Maybe
