I’ve found Mastodon in my decision to stop using FB/Insta/Threads etc, and so far am loving it - not least due to the lack of adverts

I’m an accountant by trade; pianist, dog and cat lover, and avid reader in my spare time.

My recommendation is that you add about 30+ other tags to your follow list! That's how you get stuff into your timeline, because we don't have an algorithm feeding it here.

Oh, and there's an account here that shares these great photographs of beautiful Glasgow buildings. I never knew you had so many. I'm guessing if you follow #glasgow you'll see them.

@Colgrace apparently Glasgow was where the world’s first Institute of Chartered Accountants was founded.
Apparently to this day, chartered accountants in Scotland don’t have to put the country after their qualification because we were the first.
