Hey buddy, have you considered that the world can open the Strait of Hormuz two ways: defeating Iran, or defeating the US. One of those is easy. We can’t fight in Iran without European bases. We can’t move our economy without Europe. Europe can fuck up your (and my) life whenever they want, it’s just a question of when the pain is worth it to them.

@mcnado And if we have to choose a side in this fight it might be the other Gulf states without the USA.
And then a peace agreement with Iran.
All US bases out of the middle east.
Preferably break up the USA into multiple states, so we will not be here again in 20 years.

Europe is well on its way to ridding themselves of fossil fuel dependency. Yay.
One day, maybe fossil fuel hangers-on will be prosecuted for ecocide. By Europe and China.
