If you are interested in joining in regular or occasional watch parties, they’re a thing here. If there’s a fandom you have a passion for, you should be able to ‘find your peeps’ here.
Also, this is a place to learn a lot by osmosis from folks with IT and info sec know how and accessibility/disability interest and experience.
@FediTips Quick Start page is helpful and their curated lists of people and groupbots by topic is a helpful resource to start filling your feed.
Last, please be mindful and kind and use AltText on your posted images. While forkiverse is about building the social web you want, many people in the fediverse will not boost posts without AltText descriptions.

Whatever you're looking for, the fediverse runs on hashtags. There's no algorithm serving you lukewarm thin soup of popular crap so you'll have to make your own choices*. For starters, here you can follow hashtags instead of people, for instance, you can get miniature hobby content from, say, me, without the millions of other things I go for. You can also follow someone but hide boosts (reblogs/reshares).
