@QasimRashid While double standards and racist framings in American and European media are a sad fact, this story does not help to build the case. The MAGA guy was an irresponsible idiot with alcoholism issues but from what I'm reading on BBC, he did not kill her out of a pro Trump radicalization.

If they were told to die to selfishness and give up all their wealth by Jesus in person, they would kill him again. Because ultimately, religion is just a justifier to them of what they already want.

They don't care about the core tenant of the bible which is to love your neighbour as yourself.

Did we read the same article? She hated guns and he knew it. She had argued with him about whether or not it would hypothetically be okay for Trump to sexually assault her (he was fine with it).

His explanation was that he had revealed to her for the the first time that he had a gun and was showing it to her, whereas witnesses say she frequently became upset when he mentioned his gun in the past.

It was a pre-meditated execution using alcoholism as an excuse.

@LaD_Hallo @QasimRashid I think it helps build the case against rightish media *regardless* of whether he is a femicidal misogynist or a drunken idiot. Were he muslim, many news storys would pounce on the former assumption and not even ask whether this could have been a tragic accident.

Violence should be questioned the same way, no matter who commits it.
If we only apply “radicalization” or “cultural” labels to certain groups, that says more about bias than justice.

Consistency matters.
