@amanda @nicklockwood yeah, this. If you’re sharing a ChatGPT response with me you’d better be prepared to justify why you agree with it. (And if you’ve already adopted it as your own opinions, why mention ChatGPT at all, other than as an appeal to authority?)

@amanda I do agree that someone directly passing along AI output to other people is rude in the same way that offering me a plate of dog shit at dinner is rude, but I think the author is still too kind: I wouldn’t go as far as saying “There's nothing wrong with using AI.” Using AI is rife with ethical problems, and appears to pose significant mental health risk to those who use it extensively.
But yeah, in terms of social interaction, “ChatGPT says…” is an instant block for me.

@drahardja I’m a little less strict since the massive propaganda campaign means a lot of normies use and trust it, but sure.
