@grahamperrin No, just a FreeBSD base install. After inclusion of KDE in the desktop installer and the updated description in the handbook I shelved it, sorry. Tbf: the recap by Adriaan is how I recall it myself as well. And i'd still prefer the cli startup, since sddm has proven to be a tricky bummer. I'd go for the meta Plasma6-plasma pkg.

@grahamperrin I managed to restore a log from Joplin and republished it:
https://codeberg.org/thesaigoneer/pages/src/branch/main/FreeBSD%20and%20Plasma%206%20install%20-%20a%20logI'm gonna do a quick check up and update this page as I go along. With any luck (The Powers That Be etc) I can do that today. Let you know

@grahamperrin The page and setup of a Wayland KDE session on FreeBSD has been updated and is (and will remain) available at:
https://codeberg.org/thesaigoneer/pages/src/branch/main/FreeBSD%20and%20Plasma%206%20install%20-%20a%20logI just ran an install myself and this is what it got me 🥳 There were no additional tweaks or actions required after booting and starting from the CLI.
