This helps me understand why I, as a #Humanities scholar, mostly find the the site useless. I don't need to network with middle management at squeegee factories and business consultancy firms. Their tone of false enthusiasm for pointless activities is deeply depressing. I'm only interested in the rare job ads of relevance to myself.

@mrundkvist Indeed. Employers are increasingly looking at how you present yourself at LinkedIn, according to the latest Danish survey from Ballisager consulting. And yet, no sane humanities scholars waste their time networking there.
