What will happen to mainstream media on the web if advertising dries up?

The thing about evil is that it has a tendency to avoid death....

I imagine companies like Fox News will be nationalised by the fascist regime and integrated into the Department of Interior.

That's the pattern already established with SpaceX, Palantir and Meta. I fully expect it to continue.

On the plus side, all this excess and blatant amorality isn't going unnoticed overseas. People are turning away from American companies and trade in digust.

Time will tell!
