could be a fairly long shot, but why not? Fedi please boost this for reach

anyone in (or in touch with someone who is) in Aotearoa New Zealand, and has any old braille notetaker devices they don't want or can't use?
we're particularly interested in anything from what we consider the golden age (1990s to early 2010s), especially the early Humanware Braille/VoiceNote series. but we'll happily take anything, even if it's broken. we live on very little income so we might not be able to pay you much for it, but will absolutely pay shipping and would love to talk barter of some kind. or we can work out a payment plan, up to you.
we're based in the Waitaha/Canterbury region and can pick up anywhere in the Ōtautahi/Christchurch Metro, or can collect from the BLVNZ office on Bristol Street.
ping @JonathanMosen

@crowk Is @JonathanMosen still here? He may know who would be good contacts.
It may also be helpful asking DPA (Disabled Persons' Assembly) if they'd be willing to include a note in their newsletter

@crowk I have a Blazie Engineering Braille keyboard that I bought off Trademe for $76 in 2024. I’ve not tested if it works. I bought it for fun, as an interesting keyboard alternative, so I certainly don’t need to keep it. No idea if that’s the sort of thing you’re after?

@crowk The nicad battery looks intact, but it’s flat and there’s no cables so I can’t test it. It’s Braille Lite BLT-18:
