I think gold won’t help or heal what ails us, but it would be useful if billionaire money was redistributed to help the poor.

This series vacillates between fool’s gold & true gold. Gold that repairs, versus gold used to destroy.

I think of true gold as wisdom, discernment, integrity, understanding, compassion, etc.

I think this series with emergency blankets is about navigating present times, the choices & struggles we must take, or the responsibilities & temptations we refuse or resist. What we let grow, heal. The consequences. Do safe places even exist? Certainly not for women, trans...But not anyone really.
I keep doing work about migration, seeking a place to grow. Heal. Reach our potential. But community & connection is broken, people getting uprooted by apathy, man made climatechange, hate, greed.
