Camels don't store water in their humps.
That's an urban myth.
But they do store fat.
But then they burn that fat.
And the carbon gets released as carbon dioxide
And the hydrogen gets released as water.
And for every gram of fat they store and burn the camel gets back 1.1 grams of water.
So camels do actually store water in their humps.
They actually store more water in there than if it was actually water. -
