@rufustheduck We had a white one who liked to watch the YouTube channel of Paul dinning: Cat videos. He had a degenerative disease and left us very young. 4 years have passed and we still miss him.

@rufustheduck Our cats are usually not that interested in the tv but when I watched the movie 'Flow' one of my cats was *really* into it. Even tried to jump into the screen.

@rufustheduck our papillon has no interest in any "videos for dogs" but he watches Nimble the papillon champion agility dog for hours, and LOVES sheep herding videos

@rufustheduck Is it possible the movie is shown in 120 frames per second (or more)?
I read some time ago that cat eyes view a lot "faster" than we do. So for us movies become movies at around 25-30 frames per second - but for cats only above 100 frames per second.
So lots of movies for us are stop-motion-pictures for them - and therefore not very "real" - unless the framerate is higher than most movies made for humans.(Sorry for being all technical. I'm sure he just wants to be catman.)

My parrot watches cartoons on PBS in the morning, and Bird videos before bed. He also enjoys movies with good music like “Strictly Ballroom”. If I have to go out for a while, I put on a music channel from PBS. He loves Opera and Operetta, but any classical music will keep him calm yet amused. Even tries to whistle and “Amazon strut” along if he’s so inclined. Nuttier than squirrel poop sometimes, but he’s great fun. -

@rufustheduck I am always fascinated by what sort of tv cats and dogs are into. Minnie thinks the TV is stupid unless we are watching LoTR (they are going on a real good walk) or Mama Mia (they are singing ABBA) but I used to hang out with this chiuaua who would always come and watch space dogfights in science fiction.

@rufustheduck @nixCraft When our aging Tuxedo Cat was about that size she was fascinated by the movie WALL·E. She didn’t sit still for much back then, but she couldn’t take her eyes off that movie.
