    Quite a phenomenal campaign ad from the Greens down in England. Strong. I firmly believe that any political party not running this same message will fail.

    @LaChasseuse

    I was relieved he didn’t go for armed struggle as the solution, because this is the clearest summary of “ the problem “ I have seen.

      @LaChasseuse

      Not from the UK and wouldn't vote for him, but nonetheless:

      He's giving Mamdani vibes (messiging-wise).

        @proscience He was around before Mamdani came on the scene, and he is merely saying what the vast majority of people in the UK are thinking right now.
        If the English have any sense, they will vote Green in masses next time. All the other English parties are corrupt.
        We are lucky in Scotland, because we have the SNP (who form the government) and the Scottish Greens (who support them).

          @LaChasseuse I wish the Greens well because someone/party needs to change politics in the UK and Reform is not the answer.

            @LaChasseuse so, the UK greens are going to be democratic socialists? that's a good thing, as the UK actually lacks a left party.

              @LaChasseuse

              No disrespect meant: Very possible clips like the above existed but didn't spread into my space.

              As the English are mainly responsible for and still haven't learned the essentials from the Brexit disaster, I'm doubtful they will come to their senses—but what I see in polls is SNP is back, CP is front runner in Wales, LibDems + Greens have either overtaken or are level w/ the failures that are Tories + Labour.

              And, sadly, Reform is a real threat.

              Tactical voting is critical!

                  @EF @LaChasseuse I think what makes the Greens different is precisely because they are not (yet) funded primarily by the very rich.

                  They will come under pressure to accept that money. It's much less work to fund raise a million pounds from just one ultra-rich #kleptocrat than from one hundred thousand ordinary people.

                  We'll see if they can continue to resist; #Labour have signally failed.

                    @LaChasseuse Former actor and boob hypnotist (at the time a 30 year old man) has watched too many Mamdani videos. This grifter is the best the British Left has to offer? Oh boy.

                      @LaChasseuse not as strong as it could be. I would transform this in advertising against slavery, just admitting that raising the prices of essential commodities is just another kind of slavery. Slavery. Literal slavery.
