@BuyFromEU I never understood why EU do not take more actions to decouple from software dependencies. KDE and Linux is a superb desktop and 2 of the best distros Mageia and Suse are Europeans.
An EU foundation for sharing base system between them can create a formidable competition to Microsoft. Especially now that MS went all in integrating buggy AI and cloud as spyware, and everybody hates it. This open of window of opportunity to take the lead and leave MS in the dust.

When people are in a decent boat, they are difficult to convince to jump to another boat. Because all their friends are in the old boat, it is the boat they know, it is comfortable that they know how it works, even though there are camera in every room, even the bathroom.
