@vinterkarusell My "storage problem" is that I have enough storage to cause a real problem for people if I passed away.

@North @vinterkarusell you have this in common with my parents, who keep building more storage.

@brennen @vinterkarusell makes you wonder if being buried with all your stuff was more of a practical move than a spiritual one. Easier to build a pyramid than organize the Khufu estate sale.

@North @vinterkarusell "fuck, look, i don't know, stack it over there with the miscellaneous reliefs & statues. we'll add another burial chamber or something. if we ask who wants it we're gonna have to deal with ankhhaf's kids sniping at each other about the pottery for months"

@vinterkarusell And eventually your loved ones will inherit the storage issues, but with the curiosity replaced by guilt.

@vinterkarusell@saga.garden mentally going over each of my hobbies in my head, checking them off one by one, mildly surprised at how broadly specific the phrase "storage problems" is, and i came to the conclusion that this statement is 100% true.

@vinterkarusell that's not so true of chess, which I recommend as a hobby. For older people, it even noticeably slows brain aging.
