The US government is now officially and openly posting fake AI images (both doctored and outright fabricated) and passing them off as real.
While we've seen some examples of this in the past, and there has been speculation on others, it is now openly brazen with two official sources having posted contradictory images.

They're trying to shame her but I think theres a whole heap more people feeling ashamed of their government over this nonsense. -

@tinker what they fear the most: a strong, dignified black woman who is not afraid of them. (This is the kind of attitude that gets women beaten up by their male partners; it’s strength, not weakness that is dangerous for women.)
