Pretty weird knowing that our iconic red mailboxes are gone. They have been in service since 1867.

I can't remember the last time I sent a letter though, because the price skyrocketed once PostNord got privatised, so it was a huge nudge towards all kinds of e-services. Yay, privatisation. Yes, yes - low demand and all but I really think snailmail is a must-have core service in a society.

Hopefully, Kevin Costner will bail us out by delivering mail on horseback if the apocalypse happens
