Setting up a new phone and encountering way too many cases where I can't tell if the "security" feature is actually more secure. For example, encrypted sync -- does it turn on encryption for sync that is happening whether I like it or not, or does it turn on sync, promising that it's at least encrypted?
Is there a place one can look up what all the security settings actually mean for a particular Android OS or phone model?
