In November 2024, Muricans were told that there were only two viable choices for POTUS. One was the red genocider. The other was the blue genocider.

Dems are not good people. They are without a doubt the lesser of two evils. It's like the trolley problem: just pull the fucking lever.
There is no virtue in refusing to dirty one's hands when the calling comes. In the end what remains is the sum of our deeds.

@renardboy@amber I was very shocked in 2024. Two Americans who I have known for over 35 years, both highly educated in international relations, were openly calling for votes for Harris.
But neither would acknowledge that they were calling for votes for genocide. I pushed them, separately, but they evaded, weaselly. Thesexare not evasive people, but neither would answer directly.
I remain appalled that for them, genocide waa not a bright red line
Our friendships are now much more distant.

@renardboy I knew a person whose big claim to fame is that they told a Congresswoman that they don't vote. They thought it was some sorta power move. People from the United States have clearly shown over the decades that they do not understand the principles of harm reduction and strategic voting.
