People point to homeless folks as emblematic of #inequality in #Portland, but the #LeafDay map is systemic racism and classism at its most brazen. Imagine seeing that some neighborhoods don't have enough trees to make free leaf pickup cost effective, and rather than planting some fucking trees, you decide to just ignore those areas and save a buck.
