@stux my strategy doesn't actually work, but it is still satisfying to periodically take photos and video through the window of businesses if they have more than four security cameras recording me every f-ing day I walk to or from work.
There are at least a dozen places that do this.
I feel like "you have recorded 50,000 videos of me over the last 20 years with your poorly aimed spy cameras" is a pretty good response to "why are you invading the privacy of my business."

@stux although I'm not going to travel to Trumpland, every time I see a blurred out building on Google near me I've been tempted to drive up there and check it out to investigate exactly what folk want to hide and why..

in Britain everyone watches each other, and someone who tries to hide themselves too much only attracts *more* attention, its been a panopticon society way before Google or CCTV or anything else like that (we invented the concept of the panopticon!)
