This book (Caliban and the Witch) makes me want to burn everything down (to be clear: it's not THE BOOK, it's the knowledge of how women were brutalized by men and the state into "accepting" patriarchy)

The story illustrates 1 way women build a society that actively deals with that element in male psychology, behavior, violence. As a post-apocalyptic story, some things would be very difficult to implement now. But the essential concept is worth reflecting on for anyone who can give birth.
