@pvrahbek@expressional.social Meshtastic is great. MeshCore is a vibecoded mess with a proprietary app that is not available in F-Droid and requires you to "buy a license to unlock full functionality".

@SuperDicq good points. Especially the license part.
It's only recently that the one guy from meshcore tried vibecode it all by himself, and to register and take it for profit.
I read a statement from the rest of the team after they kicked him, and split the project. They are against the vibecoding and propritary aspects, and have continued on their own at meshcore.io.
I think that's respectable.
