Not keeping the troops inoculated against diseases/illness is a great way to ensure you have fewer troops available to deploy.

On a side note, I received mandatory annual flu vaccines for years, while I was with the US Army. I don't bother getting vaccinated now, because I haven't had the flu or a cold in decades.
