    Exhausting day trying to get a decent print from this large plate (A2), aiming for a nice consistent ink tone over the aquatint. Changed paper and moved onto this enormous press which I haven't used before, and it worked perfectly! As the technician said, a rare case of actually being able to totally blame the tools. This press takes about 100 turns per print and I am so very tired. Big etchings are an entirely different beast to 'normal' sized ones, at every step of the process.

        @amberfirefly You really do suffer for your art. I love the breaching whale but I hope you can rest up soon so your ribs can mend themselves.
