Arrest under terrorism laws for words the state doesn't like. Where the long tortuous pre-trial process is an intentional part of the punishment leading to show trials in kangaroo courts.

This is not how the terrorism legislation was supposed to be implemented. Arresting little old ladies. What a bloody farce.
And yet this is exactly what liberty groups said could happen when it was introduced. I remember those debates. I remember thinking it was a reach. How wrong I was.
I hope they feel the shame they bloody well should when they go home after a shift.
