This is an act of war.
Facebook, has taken the Brazilian President off the internet in the days before the Brazilian election.
An Act of War. A foreign subversion of a sovereign state.
No idea what a proportional response should be.
Apologies to nations like Turkey and Brazil who suffer because we let techbros grow into a world fascist threat.
(In many world communities facebook IS the internet.)

@kevinrns
A nationwide block on Meta would be an appropriate response. -

@kevinrns "No idea what a proportional response should be."- well the US response(whilst not proportional) would be massive air strikes

@kevinrns
A nationwide block on Meta would be an appropriate response.In many countries facebook IS the internet. You dont go online, you can only sign in to facebook. It is "cheap" to use Facebook, expensive to get a plain ISP.

A nationwide block on Meta would be an appropriate response.But yes. Sorry I agreed and wrote only drawbacks
