Funny picture! But not that funny when you get stuck on a single track road because a lorry cannot pass the camping vans coming from the opposite direction.
This happened to us yesterday between Achmelvich and Lochinver.

Ours is Tuesday, but not nearly so picturesque. It’s an auditory experience. First, loud clanking sounds, down the street, then a squawky “eep, eep, eep”, as the truck runs in reverse. Then the missus announces, “It’s trash day!” It’s totally devoid of beauty and romance.

I REALLY had to expand this photo in order to see the bin lorry away in the distance on this winding road.
