@EUCommission non consensual porn and child pornography isn't "spicy mode". Leave the nazi platform and block them in Europe.

@EUCommission Abandon the platform, also hold Elon accountable.
If I, as a very small owner of a small website, would allow for the misinformation, disinformation, lies, hate, and porn I would have to face consequences. And rightfully so. But I never see the big players take responsibility.
Do something to stop Meta, X, and all the big tech, rogue platforms as they are undermining and corroding democracy.
This has to stop! Also, tax them. This is ridiculous.
-
@EUCommission I think that all european officials should stop using X and move to Mastodon
@d4v @EUCommission, or at least in parallel.

"now offering a spicy mode"
"a spicy mode"
Is that what you're calling non-consensual adult and child pornography now?
"spicy"
Wow
Don't be too harsh now
Wouldn't want to hurt the feelings of any porn enjoyers, would you now?
@FinchHaven @EUCommission agree, either put that in quotes if it's the company wording or just... Don't say it

@EUCommission But of course our chats should all be scanned preemptively because, so the oft-repeated rationale, they could contain such content ...
Why are you and many of your officials still on X anyway?

CSAM is not "spicy" and posting from a CSAM platform is peak culpability.

I know there's more chance of finding out Santa is real after all, but here's a thought...
How about the UK govt (and the EU for that matter but, you know, Brexit....) lead by fucking example for once and just leave X / Twitter for good. At this stage there are absolutely NO good reasons to stay - there is no upside.
And once they've grown the balls to do that, they can then ban the fuck out of it.
It really isn't that difficult...

@EUCommission
A disappointing response, and that's wording it kindly.Showing once again that there are different rules for the rich, apparently to the extent that you refuse to be harsh to them when they tolerate CSAM on their platform.
Not even finding the backbone to call it what it is.
