I am drained, tired, exhausted, so far out of spoons that I am running on the few forks I have left to give.

We are off to Levenshulme #RepairCafe this morning, the first one there of this year.

I am hoping it isn't too busy.

@Maker_of_Things You seem to do an awful lot of things, no wonder you are tired. All this mention of forks and spoons leads me to wonder when do the knives come out (and what would they symbolise?)

At Levenshulme today, I worked on:

-A zip slider, it had been squashed.
-A 20 yo Magimix toaster, not fixed as the spare pcb was £70.
-A crystal glass bell, the gilt effect handle was broken, I was able to solder it.
-A Remington typewriter - advised it needed a new carriage return cord.
-A smoothie blitzer - it needs a new cup with all three interlock tabs.
-A fridge with a misaligned door, it needed some spacer washers in the hinge.
-A powered speaker, extracted the broken phono plug pins from the sockets.

It was quite a busy morning, not surprising for the first of the year.
