Ever wonder how they transport those wind turbine blades from Point A to Point B? Neither had we, but we learned this morning. A policeman waved us down to pull all the way off the road, in anticipation of a very wide load. He wasn’t kidding. There were 3 of these bad boys in all and they caused quite a traffic jam. #Scotland

@gparenti Yes, the blades are huge. I have encountered blades being transported to the Columbia River Gorge wind farms and saw them first hand.
