@VeroniqueB99 it is like suggesting Israeli’s aren’t to blame for #netenyahu. Russians aren’t to blame for Putin, Yanks aren’t the to blame for Trump, British aren’t to blame for #brexit. At least Russians have an excuse.
In Australia we definitely are to blame for Howard and Menzies and Hawk and Albanese and Morrison. We have compulsory voting. If we are mainly racist that is the dynamics.

I think 'blame' isn't the right word... in a democracy (or similar) you don't always get your way just cuz you vote... but right now Americans have the power to do something about it. ...

If a majority think like that then that is your country. You are the out-layer. A lot of yanks are moving to Australia because that is the only thing they can do.
