Happy Pythagorean Theorem Day to all who celebrate!

[nxskok@cupoftea.social]

@Crell the next one actually works outside of the US, as long as you remember to celebrate the same triangle on April 3 as well.

[crell@phpc.social]

@nxskok 10/24/26 and 24/10/26 both work just as well.

[mazzo@chaos.social]

@pettanko @Crell @edwiebe

for conversion, just turn it 90° CCW

26²=10²+24²

checks out

[sn@mastodon.ping.de]

@Crell why would you put the month first, then the day, then the year?

[crell@phpc.social]

@sn Because 'murica.

But it works both ways.

[mgorny@mastodon.com.pl]

@Crell, damn, and I've assumed I'd still be allowed to use right triangles in this century.

[drizzy@cyberplace.social]

@Crell Rest of the world agrees but only thanks to the commutative property of the +

[falken@social.falkensweb.com]

@Crell a hoi @standupmaths

[gimulnautti@mastodon.green]

@Crell wow, I wonder if we make it until the next one

@pettanko @edwiebe @Crell
Anyone who refuses to use "DD/MM/YYYY 23:59" or "YYYY/MM/DD 23:59" date and time formats should be split in half with a karate chop.

[crell@phpc.social]

@mgorny Sorry, we've run out now. You'll need to wait for them to be refreshed.

[crell@phpc.social]

@TheTeka @edwiebe @pettanko Dude, chill out, grow up, and enjoy some math humor.

Besides, it works in DD/MM/YY format, too. Just rotate 90 degrees.
