However, we should not kid ourselves that this is easy. There was a lot of trust lost in the process, and UK politics do not yet appear stable enough to allow for the long-lasting continuity needed for rejoin.
We have a lot of ground to cover, and it will be at a walking pace. But I do think that each step is worth taking.
